A Stanley Park Circus Adventure

PNE Garden Auditorium. May 12 through May 15, 2011 

CircusWest is proud to present a magical and mystical circus tour through Stanley Park over the last 125 years. The show will chronicle the journey of Lord Stanley and guests as they travel from major Park landmarks along the Seawallpath and interact with animals and super natural forces along the way.
 
CircusWest is pleased to present this original circus production to celebrate Vancouver's 125th Anniversary and the unique artistry of CircusWest youth. Watch as Centre|Stage and Performance Program CirKids bring Stanley Park's totem poles, park animals and statues come to life. The show includes Acrobatics, Aerial Fabric Routines, Human Pyramids on Unicycles, Human Contortion and Swinging Trapeze. See Stanley Park come alive with performers who dazzle the audiences with awe inspiring feats and breathtaking circus skills. Don’t miss the adventure!

Circus – entertainment for your event

CircusWest has 2 performing troupes, our amateur youth performing troupe CirKids and the Avatar Circus Project, a professional troupe. Both groups are available to perform at community and corporate events, music and art festivals, benefits, fundraising and gala events and civic celebrations. CircusWest produces a youth show each spring at the Garden Auditorium at the PNE.

The youth performance troupe of CircusWest dazzled onlookers throughout Culture Blast with their unique acts. The finale was spell binding as they invaded the atrium..the crowds loved this group and we'd love to have them back!

Thanks once again for helping make the 2011 Show of Hearts telethon a success. The opening Circus West performance was excellent! Well performed and professional.  We hit the air at the end of Global’s six o’clock news with a viewing audience of close to 100,000...your kids helped entertain and hold that audience for us.
