CircusWest is a community-based BC society and like all not-for-profits, we rely on the support of our members and community.

Enrolment in our Ringmasters and Performance programs require volunteer hours as part of our regular programming. We do this to assist us in creating our Cirkids showcases and end of year show.

We have opportunities throughout the year that require a wide range of skills (e.g. set painting, hair styling, costume sewing, set up, ushers).
Most of our volunteer hours are concentrated in the spring to prepare and assist with our annual show. Please fill in the form linked here to tell us more about your skills and interests: Smartsheet
We will send out emails to all volunteers as opportunities become available.
The number of hours required varies depending on the program.
Ringmasters, Ringmasters Plus, Center Ring, Ensemble - 20 hours per year
Apprentice - 25 hours
Per year Performance - 30 hours per year
5 additional hours are required for deposit return on any additional students within the same family.

CircusWest does not offer partial refunds. Only families that complete the required hours are eligible for a full refund.

The staff and students of CircusWest work and play on the unceded, ancestral lands of the Coast Salish peoples, including the Musqueam, Tsleil-Waututh, Sto:lo, Stz'uminus, Qayqayt and Squamish Nations. We are grateful for this land and the ongoing stewardship of it by these nations.
