Workshop details
We offer 2- or 3-hour workshops that rotate students through several circus skills, such as:
• Aerials
• Object manipulation/juggling
• Human pyramids
Bookings are available from September to June. Workshop lengths vary from 2 - 3 hours. Ask us for more information and session breakdowns!
A few things to know:
• Workshops are open to groups big and small, and tailored to suit your group’s age and size.
• If even one participant is aged 5 or 6, group ratios shift to 6:1, and group size is capped between 12–30 participants.
• Groups over 42 require more than one coach to ensure a safe and engaging experience.
• Adults who wish to participate, like chaperoning parents or teachers, will be included in the total group count.

Looking to celebrate a birthday, a milestone, or simply want to try something new together? Our Group Workshops are a unique and energizing way to bring people of all ages together through the magic of circus!
Whether you're planning a kids' party, school outing, team-building activity, or family celebration, we’ve got you covered. Our group workshops run from September to June and feature two fun-filled sessions that rotate participants through a variety of circus skills - think aerials, juggling, human pyramids, and more! It’s active, exciting, and completely unforgettable.

Our fun and engaging team-building workshops are tailored to the needs of your group. Activities centre on co-operation and problem solving, with dashes of challenge, energy, and inspiration.
From tightwire to trapeze, stiltwalking, and acrobatics, circus arts can bring individuals and the group together. Our activities are inclusive, and our method promotes achievement, discussion, leadership, and group cohesion. Workshops typically take place in our 13,000 square foot circus facility, but we can also deliver comprehensive team-building workshops off-site.
While we don’t always post openings, Circus West is always eager to connect with passionate, qualified individuals who are excited to share the magic of circus with others. If you’re a caring coach or instructor with experience in circus arts, gymnastics, or leading groups of children or adults, we’d love to hear from you. A current criminal background check and valid first aid certification are required for all coaching positions. The staff and students of Circus West work and play on the unceded, ancestral lands of the Coast Salish peoples, including the Musqueam, Tsleil-Waututh, Sto:lo, Stz'uminus, Qayqayt and Squamish Nations. We are grateful for this land and the ongoing stewardship of it by these nations.
